I loved reading about your tea ritual. It sounds so meditative and restorative. You’ve made me think about what aspect of my day could have more of this quality. Thank you.
The leaves are close companions. I wish you just as much peace and joy in whatever aspect you choose—or which chooses you. I'm pretty sure the tea found me!
I know very little about tea! I was raised in a high-demand religion where tea wasn't allowed. It's fascinating to hear about your experience with it and how much value it adds to your life. After living 40 years that way, it hasn't been top of mind to incorporate it, even though I can drink it now (and I do occasionally).

Thanks for sharing your love of tea with us. Great poem!
Thank you so much, Jenn! Yes, the tea love is strong. To make the point, I'm currently drinking this tea from 2007...

Tea is always chai for me, brewed and sweetened. Lovely poem, Martin!
Thank you, Priya. Enjoy the sweet and spicy goodness!
Oh Martin I cannot wait to read this. Saved it for when I get a quiet moment…with a cup of tea. I’ll be back!
Enjoy your cuppa! :)
