An 8 year old talks creativity

Prepare to have your heart melted. Mine certainly did!

My household is filled with curiosity. Substack added video functionality to the social part of the platform. My littlest (he’s 8) really wanted to share an animation he made with an app he’s messing about with, so I let him add a video before I could put any up on the Notes.

Here it is:

After posting this, my son wanted to talk about it a bit, because…well, I’ll let him explain: “I really think doing a podcast thing is a good thing to do, and that’s what I want to start doing too.”

Good for him!

So here we are having a little chat about being inspired, creating stuff, and working with mistakes so they become new bundles of amazing creation instead.
