Yesterday, I went to my first art class. I felt like a kid! What a time.

Good to see this creativity. The second, under Visions Obscured, really stands out for me with its layers!

And thanks for sharing my work, too. If anyone wants the link to the em dash post: https://unschoolforwriters.substack.com/p/dash-it-all-the-en-and-em-dashes. Have fun!

Of course, I could've linked to your post. 🤦‍♂️ Thanks, Alison, I've added the link in the piece now too.

I'm super happy you had a blast at the art class! A one-off or the first of several? Either way, I wish you much fun and freedom in your visual art exploration. Here's to always being a kid!

It was three hours of just chilling. YES--to always being a kid.

Yesterday I spent hours studying Sendak's drawings of little children in Ruth Kraus's amazing A Hole is to Dig, and learned some things trying to copy--more fun.

Again, thank you for sharing your work! So good.

Thank you so much, Joe. Yes, it's been great working on the photoetry with you!

It was about time I give more detail into the motivations and techniques behind the art itself. A big part of this is for sharing and bringing people the courage and enthusiasm to showcase their own artistic directions. 💪
